No More Suffering in Silence: Ray Lucas’ Powerful Message about Recovery

Ray Lucas’ football career was ended by a back injury. His life was almost ended with by opioid use disorder, an addiction that started with a prescription for pain medication to threat his injuries. At a recent Knock Out Opioid Abuse Town Hall, co-sponsored by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and the Partnership for a Drug Free New Jersey, Ray Lucas shared his story and emphasized how asking for help saved his life.
