NJ targeting Medicaid members in vaccine push

State is spending $50 million to reach out, including calls to 260,000 people urging them to get vaccinated

State officials have taken proactive steps to support New Jersey’s nearly 1.9 million Medicaid members during the pandemic. Much of the work is being done by a handful of health insurance companies that provide Medicaid coverage under contracts with the state Department of Human Services.
