As the need for patient engagement increases, oncology nurses are pursuing proactive, coordinated approach to care with a new pilot program. The program, made possible by a partnership between Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and Regional Cancer Care Associates, will monitor 2,000 oncology patients after they leave the medical center.
