Communities of color have been devastated by COVID-19. Minority communities continue to experience much higher rates of infection and hospitalization from the virus.

A long history of health care inequality and barriers to care have resulted in a skepticism about the COVID-19 vaccine in some communities. Horizon BCBSNJ encourages everyone to get vaccinated for COVID-19 to protect all citizens, especially those who are more at risk for hospitalization or even death.
